The Czech Stiga Game association has been organizing the Czech Open tournament every year since 2003.

Out of twenty years, five Czech players managed to win the Czech Open six times. Lukáš Turoň was able to repeat his triumph eight years later. Finnish player Ahti Lampi won the Czech Open three times.

In 2010 in Liberec and in 2014 in Letovice, 145 and 146 players gathered, respectively. The first WC club tournament was held in 1996 in Pilsen.

It is one of the biggest tournaments in the World League with regular participation of at least 100 players.

In 2024, the Czech Open became the largest tournament in the world with 163 players in the last 5 years, thanks to the merger with the World Club Championships, and the largest tournament since the first Stig Hockey tournament in the Czech Republic (Czechoslovakia).

This year, the tournament will return to Prague on Saturday 18 April 2025.

Come and enjoy your favourite sport in the picturesque Czech capital.
